Invoices, payments and fund claims in one system

Praxia keeps invoices, payments and fund claims (pilot, not yet live for every clinic) next to the diary and the visit, so staff are not re-keying the same information. This page says what exists today and what does not.

What works today

  • Each visit can produce an invoice.
  • Staff can record cash, bank transfer and external EFTPOS payments against an invoice.

See where payments and claiming stand.

Part of the pilot product

  • Card payments at the front desk through Tyro Health.
  • Private health fund rebate claiming through Tyro Health. It has been run end to end on Tyro’s staging environment, and is being introduced with pilot clinics.

Neither is live for every clinic yet.

Cancellations and no-shows

Cancelled appointments leave gaps. Praxia can offer a freed-up slot to patients on your waitlist, as part of the pilot product. See scheduling and rostering and the guide on cancelled appointments and dead time.

What is not built or not confirmed

  • Automated overdue-payment reminder sequences, with clinician approval before anything is sent.
  • Enforcing a prepayment policy.
  • Medicare, DVA and NDIS claiming and invoicing.

We do not promise faster payment or any revenue result. Tell us in a walkthrough what matters to your clinic, and we will say honestly whether it is covered.
