Practice management for multidisciplinary clinics
Less admin. More clinic. When physios, chiropractors, osteopaths, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners and others share one front desk, the diary, the roster and the follow-up have to work for all of them at once. That is the shape Praxia was built around.

Why this shape of clinic is hard to run
In a multidisciplinary clinic, one reception team books for several disciplines, each with its own session lengths, its own days and its own patients who drift away. A diary that suits one discipline often gets in the way of the next.
Praxia was built with a working clinic, starting with its own pilot practice, so this is the situation it was designed against.

One diary, one roster, many clinicians
Every clinician has a day view and a week view as a schedule grid, and statuses are shown in words as well as colour.
Rosters are set by the week and copied forward, with clashes flagged before they become double bookings.
Bookings made on your clinic’s calendars arrive in Praxia as visit records, and cancellations and reschedules sync.
Praxia can offer a freed-up slot to patients on a waitlist. It is part of the pilot product, and offers run when a cancellation opens a slot.
Roles that match how a clinic is staffed
Access is role based, so reception, clinicians and owners each see what suits their job.
Some things are limited to management roles on purpose: the reports page and the attrition log are for owners and practice managers.
Each clinic’s data is separated from every other clinic’s at the database level.
Follow-up across disciplines
Patients whose visits stop are grouped into recall cohorts by time since they last attended, using rules your clinic sets. This is part of the pilot product.
An attrition log shows staff which lapsed patients need a personal call, with the reason recorded.
Opt-outs are honoured, and patients can set their own communication preferences.
Praxia can draft a first-pass referral or discharge letter to a GP, and a clinician reviews and approves every draft before anything is sent.
Notes and intake
Visit notes are written in SOAP sections that autosave, keep an edit history and cannot be signed off until your clinic’s rules are met.
Patients can complete intake forms online before they arrive.
The pilot includes an AI scribe that drafts clinical notes for the clinician to review and sign. A clinician must review every draft before it can become the record. It is in the pilot release and is not yet generally available.

A disclosure about the pilot
Praxia is being piloted with Evolution Medical Care, a clinic run by Praxia’s founders, and is being onboarded to it now. Praxia Clinical Solutions is an Australian company, currently in incorporation. We have no customer numbers, testimonials or results to show you, and we will not invent any. More about the team is on the about page.
Pricing for a multidisciplinary clinic
Pricing is per practitioner per month, so the tier depends on how many practitioners you have: A$159 for 2 to 4, A$119 for 5 to 10, A$89 for 11 to 20, and 21 or more on application. A solo practitioner pays A$199. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST. GST is added to your invoice and shown as a separate line.
The pricing page has the table.
Multidisciplinary clinic questions
Can I run two locations in one account?
Ask us in a walkthrough. We have not seen Praxia run several sites for a clinic, so we will not promise it.
Do I get templates for each discipline?
No. The note editor is general. We do not have discipline-specific templates.
Can we claim health fund rebates, Medicare, DVA or NDIS?
Private health fund claiming through Tyro Health is part of the pilot product. It has been built and run end to end on Tyro’s staging environment. Card payments at the front desk through Tyro Health are part of the pilot product too. See where payments and claiming stand. Medicare, DVA and NDIS are in scope for the platform but not part of the early pilot release, and may arrive during the pilot or, more likely, before commercial release; tell us if they matter to your clinic.
How is a switch from our current system handled?
It is planned with you during onboarding, with checks before anything changes over, and with messaging held back until the checks pass. We aim for an operator-led set-up session with as little of the owner’s time as we can manage.
Has a clinic like ours used it?
Our pilot clinic is multidisciplinary and run by our founders, and is being onboarded now. We have no outcomes or customer numbers to share.
