Practice management for physiotherapy clinics
Less admin. More clinic. Praxia gives a physiotherapy practice one place for the diary, the visit note, follow-up and reporting, so the work around treatment is designed to sit in one system.

What a physio practice spends its admin time on
Many physiotherapy clinics lose time in the same places: a diary that needs constant tidying, notes written after hours, patients who stop coming without anyone noticing, and letters to GPs that wait until Friday.
Praxia is built around those gaps. It is not a physiotherapy-specific product. It is practice management for Australian allied health, and it was built with a working clinic.
The diary and the roster
Each clinician has a day view and a week view as a schedule grid, with appointment statuses in words as well as colour.
Rosters are set by the week and copied forward, with clashes flagged before they become double bookings.
Appointments booked on your clinic’s calendars flow into Praxia as visit records, and cancellations and reschedules sync.
When a patient cancels, Praxia can offer the freed-up slot to patients on your waitlist. This is part of the pilot product, and offers run when a cancellation opens a slot.
Notes, intake and the body chart
Visit notes are written in SOAP sections that autosave, warn on edit conflicts, keep an edit history, and cannot be signed off until your clinic’s rules are met.
Patients can complete intake forms online before they arrive, and the answers land in their record.
Clinicians can draw on a full-body chart inside the visit.
The pilot includes an AI scribe that drafts clinical notes for the clinician to review and sign. A clinician must review every draft before it can become the record. We do not describe how well it performs, because we have no evidence we are prepared to publish.
Letters, follow-up and reporting
Praxia can draft a first-pass referral or discharge letter to a GP. A clinician reviews and approves every draft before anything is sent.
Patients whose visits stop are grouped into recall cohorts by time since they last attended, using rules your clinic sets. This is part of the pilot product.
An attrition log shows staff which lapsed patients need a personal call, with the reason recorded. Patients’ opt-outs are honoured, and patients can set their own communication preferences.
Owners and practice managers get a reports page, filterable by date and clinician, covering bookings per day, no-show rate, revenue per visit, new patients, visit types, lapsed patients, visits per patient, retention and recall reactivation.

Who runs Praxia, and what stage it is at
Praxia is being piloted with Evolution Medical Care, a clinic run by Praxia’s founders, and is being onboarded to it now. Praxia Clinical Solutions is an Australian company, currently in incorporation. We have no customer numbers, testimonials or results to show you, and we will not invent any. More about the team is on the about page.

Physiotherapy questions
Does Praxia have physio-specific templates?
No. The SOAP note editor is general. If you rely on specific templates or outcome measures, ask us in a walkthrough before assuming it fits.
Can I claim health fund rebates, Medicare or DVA through Praxia?
Private health fund claiming through Tyro Health is part of the pilot product. It has been built and run end to end on Tyro’s staging environment. Card payments at the front desk through Tyro Health are part of the pilot product too. See where payments and claiming stand. Medicare and DVA are in scope for the platform but not part of the early pilot release, and may arrive during the pilot or, more likely, before commercial release; tell us if they matter to your clinic.
Can patients pay by card at the front desk?
Card payments at the front desk and private health fund rebate claiming through Tyro Health are part of the pilot product. Staff can record cash, bank transfer and external EFTPOS payments today.
How do I move across from my current system?
The move is planned with you during onboarding, with checks before anything changes over. See the switching page for what moves and what does not.
Is the AI scribe part of the pilot?
Yes. The pilot includes an AI scribe that drafts clinical notes for the clinician to review and sign. It is in the pilot release and is not yet generally available.
