Product status: what is built, what is part of the pilot product, what is not

Praxia is a pilot. This page says plainly what is built, what is part of the pilot product, what is in development and what is not built yet, so you can judge where we stand.

Empty waiting room with blue sofas, white chairs, framed blossom artwork and brochures on a coffee table, lit by daylight.

Where Praxia stands today

Praxia is being piloted with Evolution Medical Care, a clinic run by Praxia’s founders, and is being onboarded to it now. We built it with a working clinic, starting with that practice. Praxia Clinical Solutions is currently in incorporation.

We have no external customers, reviews or pilot results to quote.

Labels, used the same way throughout

  • Built: the capability exists in the product. It is being onboarded with a pilot clinic, which is not the same as in use at customers.
  • Part of the pilot product: switched on for each pilot clinic as it is onboarded.
  • In the pilot release: part of the pilot product, and not yet generally available.
  • In development: not finished and not available to clinics. No date set.
  • Not built or not in pilot scope: listed below so you are not left guessing.

Not built yet

These are the questions buyers most often ask us, answered directly.

  • Medicare and DVA claiming, and NDIS invoicing or plan tracking. These are in scope for the platform but not part of the early pilot release, and may arrive during the pilot or, more likely, before commercial release.
  • A HICAPS terminal or integration. Private health fund claiming is through Tyro Health instead.
  • Payment reconciliation. It is not live, so do not expect the week’s payments to reconcile themselves.
  • Benchmarking against other clinics, and telehealth video consults. No cross-clinic benchmarking exists, and telehealth is not complete and is not part of the pilot.
  • Migration from Cliniko, Nookal or any other system apart from Ovatu, or moving historical notes and invoices. Neither is built or tested.
  • Security certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, and an independent penetration test. We hold none and have not run one.

How we decide what to say here

Every line is checked against our own product and records before it is written. If a capability is still in development, we say so. If something is a target, we say we aim for it. If we cannot support a claim, we leave it out or list it as not built. We set no dates here: where none has been set, no date is set.

Questions about status

Is the AI scribe part of the pilot?

Yes. The pilot includes an AI scribe that drafts clinical notes for the clinician to review and sign. A clinician must review every draft first. It is in the pilot release and is not generally available, and no date is set for general availability.

Can I take payments and claim private health through Praxia today?

Private health fund claiming and card payments at the front desk through Tyro Health are part of the pilot product. Each clinic is switched on during onboarding, and we confirm in writing when your clinic is live on Tyro. Until then, keep your current claiming arrangements.

Does Praxia support Medicare, DVA or NDIS?

Not in the early pilot release. They are in scope for the platform, and may arrive during the pilot or, more likely, before commercial release.
