Praxia pricing: one price per practitioner, stepped by clinic size

One price per practitioner per month, stepping down as a clinic grows. There is no self-serve sign-up at this stage: Praxia is sold through a walkthrough with the founders. There is a 30 day free trial that starts once a person from Praxia has completed your onboarding (the guided set-up session and the load check). Nothing is charged during the trial, and no card is needed to start. If you agree, the next 5 months are invoiced month by month at half the list price for your clinic size. After those 5 months the list price applies. This page sets out the price list, what the subscription is aimed at, and what we have not decided yet.

On application

Talk to us and we will work it out with you.

All prices are in Australian dollars, per practitioner per month, and exclude GST. Where GST applies, it is added to your invoice and shown as a separate line.

The rate for your clinic’s size applies to every practitioner. A clinic with 6 practitioners pays the 5 to 10 rate for all six, not only for the fifth and sixth.

Clinics with 21 or more practitioners are priced on application.

Estimate your subscription

Enter a whole number from 1 to 99. The estimate updates as you type.

This is an estimate of the subscription only. It excludes payment processing and claiming fees, SMS and any other charges that are not yet decided. The pilot offer is not applied in this estimate, which uses the list price. We do not promise free migration. Final terms are discussed in a walkthrough and confirmed in writing before any charge.

Worked examples

These show the arithmetic only. They are not quotes.

  • A solo practitioner: 1 x A$199 = A$199 per month, excluding GST.
  • A clinic with 3 practitioners: 3 x A$159 = A$477 per month, excluding GST.
  • A clinic with 6 practitioners: 6 x A$119 = A$714 per month, excluding GST.
  • A clinic with 12 practitioners: 12 x A$89 = A$1,068 per month, excluding GST.

What the price covers

Praxia has one product. Every clinic gets the same system, and the price per practitioner is lower for larger clinics. The subscription covers the software described on the features page. Set-up is a guided session led by a Praxia operator, and whether set-up or migration carries a separate charge has not been decided.

Not in the subscription price today: payment processing and health fund claiming fees, SMS charges and any other pass-through costs. These are not decided yet, and we will set them out in writing before you commit. See product status for what is built and what is still being built.

What the subscription is aimed at

We do not promise a return, because we have no outcome data to base one on. What we can show is where Praxia is aimed and how far each part has got. Each practitioner on the subscription is a column in the diary, and these are the parts of Praxia attached to it.

  • Empty slots. Praxia can offer a freed-up slot to patients on your waitlist, so a cancellation has a way to be refilled. It is part of the pilot product, and offers run when a cancellation opens a slot.
  • Lapsed patients. Patients whose visits stop are grouped into recall cohorts, and an attrition log shows staff who needs a personal call. Recall and reactivation messages are part of the pilot product.
  • Slow admin. Praxia can draft a first-pass GP letter for a clinician to review and approve, and notes autosave with clinic rules checked at sign-off.
  • Claims and payments. Private health fund rebate claiming and card payments at the front desk through Tyro Health are part of the pilot product, as set out below.
  • Owner visibility. A reports page shows no-show rate and revenue per visit by clinician, so you can see where the week earned and where it did not.

One price per practitioner also means the cost moves with the size of your clinic, and an operator sets you up rather than leaving you with a manual. Whether the subscription is worth it depends on your clinic, and the walkthrough is the place to test that against your own diary.

What is included, payments and claiming, and what is not built

The price covers the Praxia product described across this site: schedule and roster, visit notes and letters, patient follow-up and reports, with role-based access. Some capabilities are part of the pilot product and some are still being built, and the feature pages say which. Where private health fund claiming and card payments through Tyro Health stand is set out on the product status page.

Medicare, DVA and NDIS claiming are in scope for the platform but not part of the early pilot release, and may arrive during the pilot or, more likely, before commercial release. Tell us if they matter to your clinic.

How you buy today

Praxia is sold by conversation at this stage. It starts with a walkthrough, and a person from Praxia sets the clinic up with you. There is no self-serve sign-up at this stage. There is a 30 day free trial that starts once a person from Praxia has completed your onboarding (the guided set-up session and the load check). Nothing is charged during the trial, and no card is needed to start.

Praxia is at pilot stage, so terms are confirmed in writing before any charge.

The pilot offer

The offer starts once a person from Praxia has completed your onboarding (the guided set-up session and the load check). Paid months are opt-in, and each is invoiced month by month.

  • The 30 day free trial: nothing is charged and no card is needed to start. Paid months are opt-in. At least 7 days before the trial ends we tell you in writing, with the amount. Paid months start only once you agree in writing. If you do not agree, your access ends and nothing is charged. You still have 60 days to export your records, then they are deleted from the live system.
  • If you agree, paid months 1 to 5, the pilot clinic offer of half the list price for your clinic size, invoiced month by month. Solo, 1 practitioner: A$99.50 (list A$199). 2 to 4 practitioners: A$79.50 (list A$159). 5 to 10 practitioners: A$59.50 (list A$119). 11 to 20 practitioners: A$44.50 (list A$89).
  • Paid month 6 onward, if you continue: the list price shown above.

All prices are per practitioner per month, in Australian dollars, excluding GST, and are invoiced month by month. Clinics with 21 or more practitioners are priced on application, so the offer is confirmed in the walkthrough. Payment processing and claiming fees, SMS and other charges are not included in these figures. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid month you are in. If you stop during the trial, nothing is charged. If you cancel, you have 60 days to export your records. After that they are deleted from the live system. You are responsible for keeping the records your profession requires, so export them before the 60 days end.

What has not been decided

We would rather tell you than leave it vague. This point is undecided, and we will not promise it until it is:

  • Whether set-up or migration carries a separate charge, or whether payment processing and claiming fees apply
  • The export format and any export price

Whatever applies to your clinic will be set out in writing before you commit.

How to compare prices fairly

Whichever software you are weighing, put the same questions to each vendor so the figures line up. Praxia’s answers are on this page; ask the others for theirs.

  • What currency is the price in, and does it include GST?
  • Is the price per practitioner, per clinic or per user, and who counts?
  • What is charged on top, such as messages, claims or add-ons?
  • Is there a minimum term, and what does it cost to leave?
  • What does it cost to move your records in, and out later?

We have answered the first two for Praxia above, and there is no minimum term. Set-up and migration charges, payment processing and claiming fees, and the export format and any export price are not decided, and we will not fill them in with guesses.

Where Praxia is today

Praxia is being piloted with Evolution Medical Care, a clinic run by Praxia’s founders, and is being onboarded to it now. Praxia Clinical Solutions is an Australian company, currently in incorporation.

We do not publish customer counts, testimonials or results, because there are none to publish yet.

Next step: a walkthrough

The next step is a walkthrough. We show you the product, ask about your clinic and give you a straight view of fit and cost. If Praxia is not right for you yet, we say so. If you would rather wait, join early access.

Questions that are not about price are welcome too, on the contact page.
