Find the Praxia page for your kind of clinic
Less admin. More clinic. Praxia is practice management for Australian allied health. These pages explain, in plain terms, how it fits four common clinic shapes, and where it does not fit yet.

How to read these pages
Each page below covers one kind of clinic. Each says what Praxia does today, what is being built, and what is not built. We would rather you rule Praxia out early than discover a gap after you have moved your diary.
Praxia is a pilot product. It is being piloted with Evolution Medical Care, a clinic run by Praxia’s founders, and is being onboarded to it now. Praxia was built with a working clinic, starting with its own pilot practice. Praxia Clinical Solutions is an Australian company, currently in incorporation. We have no customer numbers, testimonials or results to show you, and we will not invent any.

If your clinic does not match any of the four shapes, that is fine. Request a walkthrough and describe how you work, and we will tell you which parts of Praxia apply.
Four kinds of clinic
Physiotherapy. For physiotherapy practices that want the diary, the visit note, follow-up and reporting in one place, with an honest account of the limits.
Multidisciplinary clinics. For clinics where several disciplines share one front desk. This is the shape Praxia was built around, because the pilot clinic is one.
Allied health and mental health. For occupational therapy, podiatry, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, psychology, counselling and similar practices. Here the gaps matter most, so the page is the most direct about them. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine clinics also have their own page: acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
New and solo practitioners. For a practitioner starting out or working alone, including how the solo price works.
What is the same for every clinic
- A schedule grid for each clinician, by day and by week.
- Weekly rosters that copy forward, with clashes flagged early.
- Visit notes in SOAP sections that autosave and keep an edit history.
- Role based access, so reception, clinicians and owners see what suits each job.
- A reports page for owners and practice managers.
None of this depends on your discipline. What does depend on your discipline, such as discipline-specific note templates, is described honestly on each page.
What is launching, and what is not built yet
- Medicare, DVA and NDIS claiming and invoicing: in scope for the platform but not part of the early pilot release, and may arrive during the pilot or, more likely, before commercial release; tell us if they matter to your clinic.
- Features designed specifically for mental health practice.
- Discipline-specific note templates.
- Running several sites in one Praxia account.
Private health fund claiming through Tyro Health is part of the pilot product. It has been built and run end to end on Tyro’s staging environment. Card payments at the front desk through Tyro Health are part of the pilot product too.
If one of these is essential to you today, Praxia is probably not the right choice yet. Tell us what you need and we will say so plainly.
How Praxia gets set up
Onboarding is operator-led. A person from Praxia runs a guided set-up session with the clinic owner, and we aim to take as little of the owner’s time as we can.
If you are moving from another system, the switch is planned with you and checked before anything changes over. The switching page explains what moves and what does not, so you can plan around it.
Pricing in one paragraph
Pricing is per practitioner per month in Australian dollars, excluding GST. The tiers are A$199 for a solo practitioner, A$159 for 2 to 4 practitioners, A$119 for 5 to 10, A$89 for 11 to 20, and 21 or more on application.
The pricing page has the table. GST is added to your invoice and shown as a separate line. Payment processing and claiming fees are not set out there and are covered in a walkthrough.
Questions about fit
Is there a page for my discipline?
Yes for acupuncture and Chinese medicine: see the acupuncture and Chinese medicine page. For other disciplines, not yet. We add a page for a discipline once we can describe what the product does for it. If your discipline is not listed, the multidisciplinary or allied health page is the closest, and a walkthrough will answer the rest.
Does Praxia work for a clinic with more than one site?
Ask us in a walkthrough. We have not yet seen Praxia run several sites for a clinic, so we will not promise it.
Can I claim health fund rebates, Medicare, DVA or NDIS through Praxia?
Private health fund claiming through Tyro Health is part of the pilot product. It has been built and run end to end on Tyro’s staging environment. Card payments at the front desk through Tyro Health are part of the pilot product too. See where payments and claiming stand. Medicare, DVA and NDIS are in scope for the platform but not part of the early pilot release, and may arrive during the pilot or, more likely, before commercial release; tell us if they matter to your clinic.
Is Praxia in use at clinics already?
It is being piloted with one clinic run by our founders, and is being onboarded to it now. It is not yet in routine use at clinics.
